Team-Building Beach Cleanups for Businesses and Corporations
Are you part of a corporation or business that is looking for a team-building experience that will benefit the local environment?
Friends of the Bay would be happy to host a beach cleanup for your team at one of the beaches within the Oyster Bay/Cold Spring Harbor watershed.
Our beach cleanup experiences start at a suggested $500 donation and include the following:
- Full event execution including setup and breakdown
- Event permit and insurance
- All beach cleanup supplies
- A brief talk about marine debris
- Photo opportunities
Approximate duration of a cleanup is 1.5 hours.
* We require at least four weeks advance notice for scheduling a beach cleanup.
Our beach cleanups require planning, staff and resources.
90% of our operating budget comes from donations.
We are able to continue offering group beach cleanups because of your donation.
